How Ami Met Reid"No!! Leave me alone!! I want to see my brother!!"
The young woman growled, which echoed a little in her near empty room. Wasn't totally empty, had a mattress in the corner but that was pretty much it. The young woman, who looked very strange, was in a straight jacket and hiding in a corner. The ceiling light was dim, barely could be seen in the room.
Then a voice came into the room, from an intercom on the wall near the door. It was a man's voice. The voice of the one who captured the young woman and her brother.
"Patient, my dear. We will let you go when we are done."
"Yeah, I highly doubt that. Kidnapping me and my brother for your stupid experiments and test. I hate it!!"
The young woman got to her feet, growling. She was struggling to get her arms free. Pulling them at the arms until they ripped, freeing her arms so she could move them. She was pretty strong for her size, which is how she was able to rip the sleeves. Though, she didn't take off just yet. She stayed, lurking in the
Random StoryA girl with purple hair randomly appeared on a pink cotton candy cloud.
"oh my god, I love cotton candy but it gives you cavities and is totally bad for you."
She said, as she looked around. She saw other colors cotton candy, like blue and purple and even green.
"No. Bad Ami. No cotton candy!!"
Her mouth began to water and she started to drool.
"Eat us, Ami. Eat us as we are delicious cotton candy. Have some delicious milk chocolate to go with it and some soda!!"
Ami's ears perked up and so did her tail. She was wondering what the hell was going on. Cotton candy was talking to her. How could this be?
"Um, you want me to eat you guys? What kind of messed up place is this?!"
Ami looked around for explanations but found none. Was she dreaming? Or was she hallucinating? She could have been. She had been smoking a bag of catnip before passing out and this all happens.
"Oh, this is not a dream or hallucination. This is really happening. Eat us Ami you know
Abandoned ChapelThe parish waits now,
the loneliness of corners
crawling outward on walls--
chipped away by the wind,
and held together
by silk spindles;
cobwebs align them like the membranes of memories,
the cut of a jewel in an broken window
against the sun
where beads of rain
gather in a mesh of strands
a new Mosaic
against the backdrop of a cemetery;
My eyes seek out the sermon
in close proximity,
paint no distance
between headstone and cloud;
elegies topple each other
in their climb to heaven
as light trickles
over the shade,
breathes a new glow over snuffed candles.
I feel the weight in these empty rows,
how a breath couldn't cease to be breath
in the midst of prayer.
